The Montrose County Historical Society presents Richard Waller and the Northern route of the Old Spanish Trail. In December 2022, the Old Spanish Trail was designated a National Historic Trail by Congress. Mr. Waller has traveled the length of the trail using many modes of transportation, preliminary by horseback and has explored the varied route the northern part of the trail took as early merchants traveled through Colorado and Utah to meet the trail in Nevada.
The program starts at 7:00 pm. Wednesday, December 7, 2022, in rooms 1 and 2 in Montrose County Events Center. Admission is free, the public is invited. Light refreshments may be available.
Social distancing and COVID procedures are encouraged.
We have a tree at this event so be sure to look for the "Christmas Memories" and place a token vote in our box! All votes goes directly to the Society/History
