Monthly Historical Society

Public Presentation

June 1st at 7:00 pm

   Montrose County Historical Society is proud to present Curtis Martin.  He will be presenting on the Wickiup Project, ephemeral features, trade goods, and the final years of the Ute Indians. His latest book is “Ephemeral Bounty: Wickiups, Trade Goods, and the Final Years of the Autonomous Ute.

Admission is free, the public is welcome. It will start at

7 pm in the Pioneer Room of Friendship Hall at the county fairgrounds.    

First Wednesday each month starting at 7:00 pm in the 

Pioneer Room at the Montrose County Fairgrounds
